As I finished pages of Bluesy Face, I printed them and put them in a folder.



Now, I'm going through this folder and making revisions on post-it notes.



Editing has always been an important part of making comics for me. It's when I need to be a good reader of my work, not just a creator of it. I've also had some friends do close readings of Bluesy Face, and it's been fun hearing about their experiences with the book.

Meanwhile, I've been working on album cover art for the band Tomes:

I've put up the last few pages of the last chapter (read). So that means I'm done. I will be revising some things for a bit. Then, hopefully, publishing it.



I've serialized Bluesy Face over several months on this site. I wonder how that has affected the reading experience. How different will it be to read the entire work in one sitting rather than over a year? How different will it be to read this on paper rather than on a computer screen?
